Campings and youth hostels

Camping in the wild is prohibited on the island. Those fond of camping will be happy to know that Alcúdia has one of the few campsites in Mallorca: La Victòria campsite is located in a heavenly area near S'Illot beach. It has acommodation for 200 people. It has many facilities such as kitchen, dining hall, showers, basketball and handball courts as well as other sport facilities. There are usually plenty of summer courses; therefore campers should make a reservation in advance.

A few meters away you'll find the youth hostel La Victòria. A nice place to start the beautiful trips to La Victòria hermitage and watchtower, Penya Roja or es Coll Baix beach. 200 people can stay in this youth hostel with reception, rooms for 4, 6, 8 y 12 people and en-suite bathroom, food service, activity room, sports area, sheet rental, laundry, heating and car park. Like the campsite, this youth hostel is used for summer courses; therefore it is convenient to check availability in advance.
