Alcúdia's beaches (Majorca)
Can Cap de Bou
This beach lies between Alcúdia and Port de Pollença and is frequented by surfers, anglers and some bathers. A narrow but long beach with grey sand that mixes together with Mediterranean seaweed ( posidonia) that both sea and wind brings to the seashore.
The winds of Tramuntana and Gregal take on major importance in this place. Therefore many wind sport lovers come to this place to practice windsurfing or the new hype kite-surfing. Those days when the wind of Tramuntana blows at its most it is an amazing spectacle to gaze at those acrobats flying on the sea.
