The Fira d'Alcúdia (the city fair)
During the first weekend in October the Fira D'Alcúdia takes place, an exhibition of Mallorcan culture and products. Three days of concerts, Mallorcan gastronomy, craftsmanship and industry, equestrian spectacles, and a lot more. There's an interesting passacaglia on Saturday named S'Estol del Rei en Jaume, a group of figures with an enormous head that represent popular Mallorcan characters. They only come out once a year, don't miss it.
