Local gastronomy, very tempting

If you try the local gastronomy you'll be surely tempted to share the sensation with your friends and family back home. You'll never be wrong by taking with you local gastronomy as a present for your family and friends.

What to take with you? The best-selling produce are wine with denomination of origin, cheese from Mahón, fruit marmalades, extra virgin olive oil, capers, olives, sausages and the exquisite ensaïmada for the sweet-toothed.

Where can you get them? Most supermarkets have a great variety of local produce, but you can also find them at the market in Alcúdia, where you'll be able to try some of them before buying. There are also some specialised shops where you'll find a more select assortment.

Don't forget ordering the big ensaïmades one or two days in advance.
