Mallorca's leather, a high valued product
Who has never heard talk about footwear firms like Camper, Farrutx o Yanko? They are all Mallorcan factories, top leading in Spain and renowned in the rest of the world.
Camper is possibly the most known of them all, the craftsmanship tradition goes hand in hand with the cosmopolitan taste, design and functionality. Its origins start in Inca and nowadays they are sold all over the world. In Inca there's an outlet store where you'll find Camper produce at very cheap prices. But if you're out for the last-model shoe don't worry, you can find them in all specialized shops around Mallorca..
Farrutx, Yanko, Lotusse are other leather firms selling quality produce in shoes, bags, coats, gloves, etc.
If you're out for leather, Inca is the place to go. It's called the city of the leather, it is located in the centre of the island and has numerous shops and superstores specialized in leather produce. Take your time; there's a lot to see.
